Heavy duty 1m T-section ground stake with bolt connection. Can also double as a stand for solar energisers.
Earth System: An earth system uses multiple rods to create a low-resistance path for electric current to return to the energiser's earth terminal. Larger energisers need more rods.
How Earthing Works: For a fence to shock, the current must complete a circuit: leaving the energiser, traveling through fence wires and the animal, entering the soil, and returning via the earth system. An ineffective earth system means a weak shock.
Rule of thumb: 1m of conductive steel in damp soil per 1J of stored energiser output.
