The Kiwitech HyperSpring Complete is a heavy duty tension spring designed for permanent and semi permanent electric fencing systems. Used in Kiwitech fencing setups, it adds flexibility to the fence line while helping maintain consistent wire tension across grazing paddocks.

This innovative spring adds elasticity to your Kiwitech fencing, allowing it to absorb impacts and bounce back without damage. Ideal for maintaining strong and reliable fences in rotational grazing setups, the HyperSpring ensures durability and flexibility under pressure.

The HyperSpring also performs a second key role within the Kiwitech system. It acts as the tensioning pull component when installing Kiwitech InteGates and Kiwitech Strain Gates, making it a vital part of both fence and gate setup.

Which size do I need?

Choosing the correct HyperSpring size depends on the wire diameter and fence length.

2.5mm HyperSpring
- Suitable for 2mm and 2.5mm wire fences
- Recommended for any fence length
- Ideal where higher tension loads are expected

1.6mm HyperSpring
- Suitable for all 1.6mm wire fences
- Can also be used on 2mm wire fences where pulls are under 300m

Grazing system tip

When used with Kiwitech 10mm Fibreglass Posts, HyperSprings allow sections of fence line to be pinned down so livestock and vehicles can cross over the wire. The spring absorbs the pressure and returns the fence to tension afterwards, saving time and reducing the need for extra gates.

Installation guidance

  • 1 HyperSpring will tension up to 1000m of fence line (3 wire fence = 3 hypersprings!)

  • Normally installed in the middle of the fence run or 2–4m from a Kiwitech Gate when used as part of an InteGate or Strain Gate setup
